Wisconsin's Civil War Memorials
DUV Memorial at Riverside Cemetery, Oshkosh

Just east of the Soldier's monument in Oshkosh, Wis. Riverside Cemetery, is the Union Veterans Monument erected by Clara Barton Tent No.3 of the Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War in 1930. It faces east and the soldier monument can be seen in the background. It stands about 5 foot on a 10 inch concrete base and has two crossed US flags atop of the inscriptions. It is in the GAR plot of the cemetery. Riverside Cemetery is west of the corner of Murdock Street and Hwy 110.

It reads:

IN LOVING TRIBUTE
TO ALL UNION VETERANS WHO
SO LOYALLY SERVED GOD AND
THEIR COUNTRY IN THE GREAT
CONFLICT 1861-1865

ERECTED BY
Clara Barton Tent No.3
