Soldiers Monument, Hancock

The soldier's monument was erected through the Hancock Women's Relief Corps and Grand Army of the Republic. The 10-foot structure is hollow throughout the sculpture and base. It shows signs of many stress cracks and of bleeding rust from the understructure. It is located in the Hancock Cemetery at N3800 4th Ave., Hancock, Wis. This cemetery is located a half mile west of Hwy. 39 and a mile and a half south of Hwy. V.
