Wisconsin's Civil War Memorials
Soldiers and Sailors Memorial, Berlin, Wis.
Nathan Strong Park is located east of the Berlin downtown. Surrounded by many large and historically important homes from Berlin's past, the park is a focal point for local parades and roadside travelers. Park facilities include a Victorian gazebo, the Civil War Memorial pictured here, and a lighted fountain.



The cannon tube, below, is located on the VFW grounds in Berlin, Wis. It is marked as a C.A.& Co., 1844. There were no other markings. It is set on a concrete base from the trunnions.
